Ostrołęka’s park space has been enriched by a unique sports and recreation complex located on Parkowa Street. The new facility, designed by Slo Concept and built by Techramps, harmoniously blends athletic functionality with the natural surroundings. The centerpiece of the facility is a monolithic concrete skatepark covering an area of approximately 1,100 m², complemented by a dynamic, 340-meter pump track. Importantly, this is the first project of its kind in Poland equipped with linear LED lighting, which guarantees an incredible atmosphere and safety during evening sessions. The low, horizontal, Z-shaped structure blends perfectly into the landscape thanks to green slopes and embankments.
The design is based on the “flow” concept, which allows for smooth and dynamic riding without the need for constant pushing off. Durable steel and natural granite were used to finish the obstacles, and the profiled elements were created using the shotcrete technique. The entire facility is divided into three independent zones:
The infrastructure is complemented by a contoured pump track with berms, ideal for everyone—from beginners to professionals. Aesthetic pathways made of non-chamfered concrete pavers have been laid around the tracks, and small architectural elements have been installed: reinforced concrete retaining walls with seats, benches, trash cans, and bike racks. It is a modern meeting place that fully revitalizes the park space.
