Concrete skatepark - Wojkowice

The concrete skatepark in Wojkowice is a modern 1,144 sq m sports space, integrated into the recreational complex next to the city's stadium. The design was prepared to suit both beginners and more advanced riders. The facility is divided into three distinctive zones:

• Street zone - occupies more than 780 m² and has been equipped with a variety of obstacles: two grindboxes of varying heights, manual pads, stairs of several levels of difficulty, combinations of handrails and grindboxes, curb and different variants of pyramids.
• Bowl - an area of more than 280 m², with a bowl 150 cm deep and elevations of up to 180 cm. There are classic lifts on the corners and a steep banked corner, conducive to fast and smooth riding lines.
• Pumptrack line - about 80 m² with a step-up ending, allowing safe jumps and performing tricks on the fly.

The scope of the project included the full investment process - from the creation of a programmatic and spatial concept, through detailed structural design, technical documentation, cost estimates and preliminaries, to the construction of the facility. The team delivered and installed all equipment, including a street workout set with foundations, prepared patterns for mound formation, developed material sheets and guidelines for earthworks, and provided industry supervision of the investment. Finally, rules and regulations for the use of the skatepark, pumptrack and workout zone were also created.

The result of the work is a functional and safe sports facility that enriches the city's recreational offer, creating an attractive meeting and activity place for residents of all ages.
