The new facility offers students, young extreme sports fans new challenges and opportunities to develop their skills. With interdisciplinary activity in mind, the skatepark has been equipped with a number of elements, allowing both beginners and advanced users to enjoy skateboarding, scootering, BMX or rollerblading.

The skatepark consists of the following obstacles: Bank ramps, Fubox with a wave and two Hubbs, Barcelona with Nipple, two volcanoes with different angles (one softer, the other sharper), Nipple and Quarter with Wall Rid. Thanks to them, we as schoolchildren and the local community can enjoy exercise in an unusual and creative environment.

The skatepark covers an area of 185 square meters, creating a space that inspires people to learn new tricks. The initiative to build a skatepark at the school is part of a trend of developing urban infrastructure that adapts to the diverse interests of students. The new skatepark at Elementary School No. 78 is not only a place where the passion for extreme sports comes to life, but also a symbol of understanding the needs of today's youth and an investment in the development of the local community.

According to a study conducted by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism as part of the "Stop Exemptions from P.E." initiative, Polish children show less physical activity in physical education classes. The main reason for this phenomenon is the lack of adequate funding for sports popular among children, such as skateboarding. The report, prepared by Bank Pekao, shows that 8% of children surveyed indicate skateboarding as one of their favorite activities during PE. Inturn, 27% of parents believe that skateboarding is the sport of choice for their children, explains Joanna Gęborska, marketing specialist at Techramps Group. - Hence, it is important to invest in education and the development of school infrastructure. We are happy to contribute to this process," she adds.

The skatepark, located on an area adjacent to the building of Elementary School No. 78 on plots numbered 377/5 and 377/4, NH-12 precinct in Krakow, more precisely at the intersection of streets - Luczanowicka and Lubocka. The Cracow company Techramps is responsible for the design and construction of the facility, while SloConcept is responsible for the project.
