Sport Facilities XXI Century

History of the Pumptrack.eu brand

The development of extreme sports in Poland in the early 21st century was a dynamic process, adapted to the growing needs of sports facility users. As BMX riders developed their skills, their appetite grew as they ate, and so ground and modular pumptracks were developed. Today, these facilities especially serve novice park sports riders to acquire new skillets and for recreational purposes for the whole family.

The development of extreme sports in Poland at the beginning of the 21st century was a dynamic process, adapted to the growing needs of sports facility users. As BMX riders developed their skills, their appetite grew as they ate, and soground andmodular pumptracks were developed. Today, these facilities especially serve novice park sports riders to acquire new skillets and for recreational purposes for the whole family.

How were pumptracks developed?

In the early 2000s, pumptracks, a new type of bike track, began to gain popularity as a training method for mountain bikers and BMX riders. DIY tracks were created by local enthusiasts and by professional sports facility builders such as Techramps. Pumptrack has evolved from BMX racing tracks, a sport that has been an Olympic discipline since 2008. The company's rapid growth and increasing demand for brand new sports facilities like pumptrack led us to make a key decision: to use the knowledge and experience of our employees to patent our own bike tracks.

Pumtprack.eu - Polish quality all over the world!

The Pumptrack.eu brand began its activity in 2008 with the creation of the first experimental pumptrack made of wood, which differed in design from the currently known modern bicycle tracks. For a while, the issue of building bike tracks was put aside, but the topic returned with renewed vigor in 2014. Then, while working on a concrete skatepark in Olkusz, the Techramps team was asked to design a bike park and an earthen pumptrack. This project proved to be a turning point, confirming the role of pumptracks as the future of 21st century sports facilities.

A revival of interest in bike trail design and planning led to the inclusion of mobile pumptracks in the company's portfolio in 2015, and another earth pumptrack perfectly complemented the portfolio alongside the existing concrete one.
At the same time, the company initiated a pioneering project in Poland, creating a mobile pumptrack in Paczków. This initiative mobile project brought success and generated numerous inquiries, which motivated the company to continuously improve its offerings.
New technology that changes the user experience

Hundreds of completed modular tracks that have found their way from Poland to Santiago have brought the Pumptrack.eu brand to fame in the extreme sports community. This led to new user needs, which we decided to meet. Recently, the offer of the Pumptrack.eu brand has expanded to include modular tracks made with polyethylene technology. What does this mean? The new technology used in the production of pumptracks has significantly improved resistance to atmospheric conditions such as rain, moisture and UV radiation. Polyethylene affects the lifespan of the entire track structure, so the tracks will serve users for many years. The use of light shades of materials on the upholstery will avoid overheating of the equipment during the summer, when the facilities are most popular with performance sports enthusiasts.

The company's dirt and composite bike trails have been refined with extreme precision. However, this does not mean the end of the company's development. Pumptrack.eu is constantly striving to expand its capabilities, introducing innovations and new technologies to maintain its leading position on the market in Poland and Europe.
